MedNext 2026 Product Roadmap
MedNext outlines its 2026 product roadmap, detailing ten solutions available today and five more launching in 2026 forming a unified, browser-based ecosystem for patient engagement, clinical workflows, and intelligent automation.

2026 represents a focused and intentional evolution of MedNext, one that brings patient engagement, clinical workflows, communication, automation, mobility, and intelligence into a single cohesive, browser-based ecosystem. These are not standalone tools. Each product is designed to operate alongside the others, sharing data, reducing duplication, and removing the gaps where paper and manual processes have historically crept back in.
The fifteen products in this roadmap are presented in sequence not because practices must adopt them in that order, but because the sequence reflects how clinical environments naturally mature. A practice that starts with eClinical and eSign builds the foundation from which ePay, eBooking, and ePortal follow naturally. The architecture is deliberate. Every decision from the browser-first design to the integration with Medicare, DVA, and existing diagnostic systems was made with this progressive path in mind.
Available Now
Nine products are live today across MedNext, covering the full clinical and operational cycle documentation, consent, payments, bookings, patient access, correspondence, telehealth, theatre management, and anaesthesia coordination. Together, they represent a practice that can run a complete patient journey from online booking through to invoicing without touching a single piece of paper.
eClinical
At the centre of the suite, eClinical replaces the paper consultation with a fast, AI-assisted clinical workspace built specifically for specialists. Clinicians manage patient histories, order investigations, issue ePrescriptions, capture images, and draft clinical correspondence without switching between systems. It integrates natively with Medicare, DVA, Medical Objects, Zeiss, and the rest of the MedNext ecosystem into one connected record from the first consultation onwards.
Explore eClinicaleSign
Consent forms, privacy agreements, and clinical approvals are handled entirely within eSign. Forms are prepared inside MedNext and sent to patients for completion, signed remotely on any device or in-clinic at the front desk. Every signature is captured with a full audit trail, stored against the patient record, and available for compliance review at any time. The physical consent folder is gone.
Explore eSignePay
ePay integrates payment processing directly into the consultation workflow, closing the gap between billing and collection that paper-based invoicing creates. Patients pay online before or after their appointment, with automatic reconciliation, receipts, and records updated in real time. Powered by Tyro Health, it removes the friction from end-of-visit payments entirely and no manual reconciliation or missing invoices.
Explore ePayeBooking
Patients book their own appointments any time, from any device, with eBooking's real-time availability engine pulling directly from the MedNext schedule. Automated confirmations and reminders reduce no-shows before they happen. New bookings arrive in the system without a reception step, the calendar updates instantly, and the patient record is ready and waiting before they arrive.
Explore eBookingePortal
For patients, ePortal is their secure digital window into the practice. They access results, manage upcoming appointments, submit forms, and communicate with their care team from an authenticated interface that works on any device. For practices, ePortal shifts routine patient communication to self-service, reducing inbound call volume and freeing reception to focus on patients who need it most.
Explore ePortaleScribe
eScribe uses AI transcription to draft clinical correspondence to referral letters, specialist reports, and follow-up notes directly from the consultation. Clinicians speak, review, and confirm in seconds rather than dictating or typing from memory after the fact. Letter templates tuned to each specialty ensure consistency without flattening the clinical voice, and every letter links back to the patient record automatically.
Explore eScribeeVisit
MedNext's telehealth layer runs entirely in the browser, no software to install on either side of the consultation. eVisit is built directly into the eClinical record, so every virtual encounter sits inside the patient history exactly like any in-person appointment. It is billed, documented, and coded correctly from the moment the consultation ends, with full Medicare compliance built in.
Explore eVisiteOR
Theatres are among the most paper-intensive environments in healthcare. eOR replaces printed surgical lists, paper checklists, and physical ward books with a single, real-time digital view of the operating room. From pre-admission consent through to post-operative discharge, every step of the theatre workflow is captured, auditable, and connected to the central patient record no scanning, no shredding, no manual handover sheets.
Explore eOReRFA
MedNext eRFA replaces outdated, paper-heavy admission processes with a secure, digital workflow. Surgeons and patients co-sign admission requests online, instantly linked to hospital scheduling and patient records. By removing printing, faxing and scanning, eRFA becomes the starting point of a fully paperless hospital system
Explore eRFAImage Capture
During a gastroscopy or colonoscopy, Image Capture takes the live feed straight from the endoscopy processor and saves the doctor's selected frames into the record of the patient currently in theatre. It is the procedure-specific counterpart to the everyday photo capture already built into eClinical, eVisit, and ePortal, real internal images, automatically linked to the right patient, ready for the procedure report.

Coming in 2026
The next six extend MedNext into the operational infrastructure of the practice, deeper into hospital workflows, and further along the AI capability curve that clinical documentation is beginning to follow. Each will arrive with training, onboarding readiness assessments, and dedicated implementation support.
ScribeWiz
Coming SoonWhere eScribe assists with consultation documentation, ScribeWiz is built for the procedure room. As a gastroenterologist works through a gastroscopy or colonoscopy, ScribeWiz turns each clinical decision into the procedure report itself, diagnosis, findings, and the ICD coding hospitals must report to state health departments, built automatically as the doctor works rather than typed up afterwards.
Explore ScribeWizeReception
Coming SooneReception digitises the front desk patient check-in, appointment flow management, and real-time schedule visibility so reception teams can run a busy clinic session with fewer manual steps and less time on the phone. It is the operational counterpart to eBooking: where eBooking manages the calendar before the day, eReception manages what happens when the patient walks through the door.
Explore eReceptionePAS
Coming SoonThe patient administration system is the data backbone of any clinical environment. ePAS underpins the MedNext ecosystem at the hospital level managing patient demographics, referral pathways, bed management, and the administrative record that all clinical modules draw from. Its arrival closes the loop between the clinical and administrative sides of the practice, establishing a single patient identity across every interaction with the system.
Explore ePASeReports
Coming SoonPractices and hospitals generate significant operational and clinical data every day. eReports surfaces that data as actionable intelligence to compliance reporting, revenue analytics, patient flow trends, referral patterns, and clinical activity summaries without requiring a dedicated analyst to extract or interpret it. The reports are pre-built, compliance-aware, and updated in real time as activity occurs.
Explore eReportseMobile
Coming SoonClinical workflows do not always happen at a desk. eMobile extends key MedNext capabilities to mobile devices, enabling clinicians to review notes, action approvals, access patient information, and manage tasks securely while moving between consulting rooms, across the ward, or between facilities. The same clinical record, on the device that is already in your hand.
Explore eMobileWhat this roadmap represents, taken together, is a single coherent system for Australian specialist practices and hospitals. Not a collection of separate tools loosely connected, but an ecosystem designed to be adopted progressively, each product reinforcing the others, each one reducing the surface area where paper and manual process can re-enter. Every capability introduced in 2026 will arrive with clear communication, hands-on training, readiness assessments, and ongoing support at every stage, at a pace that suits the practice, not the product.
