1993

Mouse Soft Founded

Mouse Soft began when one of our first clients, a healthcare organisation with consulting suites and a day surgery, came to us with a challenge: they couldn’t find software that supported their workflows, so they asked us to build a solution specifically for their needs.

We embraced the challenge. What began as a custom-built system for one client became Medical Wizard, a platform that would go on to support healthcare providers across Australia for more than three decades. Today, MedNext carries that same spirit forward, built in partnership with healthcare providers and designed around the realities of modern healthcare.

2000s

Medical Wizard Grows Nationwide

Medical Wizard became a trusted name across Australian healthcare, adopted by specialist clinics, day surgeries, and hospitals from every state.

Over more than two decades, Medical Wizard evolved with the industry. Many of our clients have been with us for fifteen years or more, a testament to software built on genuine relationships, not just features.

2024

MedNext Born

Recognising that paper was holding healthcare back, we built MedNext, a fully digital, browser-based successor to Medical Wizard.

After three decades with Medical Wizard, it became clear that paper was the final barrier to truly efficient healthcare. MedNext was purpose-built to remove it cloud-native, browser-based, and AI-powered from day one. Data stays in Australia. Support stays human.

2025

Full Product Suite

Launched the complete MedNext ecosystem including eClinical, eScribe, eOR, ePortal, eRFA, eSign, and ePay end-to-end and paperless.

eClinical, eScribe, eOR, ePortal, eRFA, eSign, and ePay each module integrated seamlessly, eliminating the need for multiple third-party systems. One platform, one login, zero paper. Enterprise capability at a price that works for Australian healthcare.

Expanding the Ecosystem

As the lead architect of the platform, he has spent decades working closely with healthcare providers to reimagine clinical and operational workflows. Passionate about emerging technologies and AI, Chandana continues to drive the evolution of MedNext with a focus on creating the next generation of connected, intelligent healthcare systems.
